In this article we will discuss the different sections of the order report for your films on Show and Tell. Breaking down each section of the spreadsheet you will see under the Attendees tab on the back end.
Once you are logged into the backend you will see a sidebar with different tabs under “Create your event”.
Once there:
- Click on the Attendees tab
- From there you will see two options: “Orders” and “Emails Collected” The orders are the amount of people who have purchased your screening and the emails collected are the amount of people who provided their email for more information about you and your film.
- Click on orders to download a spreadsheet of the orders placed.
Customer Ticket Link: This is the link that the customer will receive once they have placed an order to watch your film. Once the order has been placed they will immediately get sent an email with instructions on how to watch your film. If for any reason the customer can not locate their ticket link you can simply send them a link to access the screening.
Stripe fees: Stripe is a third party company we use to payout our filmmakers as well as collect donations, sell tickets, or items in your store.
Stripe fees are 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction for US based customers.
If the customer’s country of origin is outside of the U.S. the Stripe fee will be 3.9% + $0.30. An additional 1% fee will be applied if a currency conversion is required.
Show&Tell fees: Show and tell charges a 15% fee per transaction for all ticket sales, store sales, and donations.
Country: Show and Tell has customers all over the world. Which means different countries will have fee rates. If the customer’s country of origin is outside of the U.S. the Stripe fee will be 3.9% + $0.30. An additional 1% fee will be applied if a currency conversion is required. The amount paid to you is based on Stripe’s daily foreign exchange currency conversion rate. You can check the daily rates for each country here.
Net To Filmmaker: This is how much you will be paid out of the customer's transaction with both Show&Tell and Stripe fees deducted.
