if you are planning on (a) collecting donations, (b) selling tickets, or (c) selling items in your store, you must complete Stripe verification. It takes ~1 minute.
On the the 'payments and activation' section on the backend of your event, go to 'Connect Stripe.' Hit the 'edit business info button' and input the following information:
Date of Birth
Last 4 of SSN
Note: the above information does not need to connect to your film’s business account - Stripe simply needs to authenticate your identity so we can collect funds on your behalf.
You will be taken back to the Show&Tell filmmaker backend
Wait about 5-10 minutes for authentication - you’ll know its complete because the option to “Connect a Bank Account” will now be available to you
Connect A Bank Account
In order to pay you for the revenue generated from your event, you’ll need to add a bank account in the 'payments and activation' page on the backend of your event. You can do so by clicking 'Connect a Bank Account' and providing the information for your bank account below:
Account Holder Name
Once this is done, Show&Tell will automatically send any money owed to you on a daily basis. You do not need to add a disbursement card before collecting funds.
